Great location and what a gem of a hotel

It was my birthday trip to Paris and my husband chose this boutique hotel. What a gem! It’s across from Notre Dame with lovely views from our bedroom window. The room was large and comfortable. As it was almost Christmas, there were two Christmas markets nearby, one in a park across from the cathedral and one on the side near the metro. It’s well situated for access and behind the hotel are some superb restaurants, too many to try in four days. We chose breakfast every day for €18 each and it was a selection of croissants, baguette, cereals, cold meats and cheeses and fruits. Soft boiled eggs and other cold selection. Dishes were refilled by the lady overseeing the breakfast. I would stay again. We were told on arrival that the film Breathless with Jean- Paul Belmondo was filmed there in the 60’s but alas it didn’t mean anything as never heard of either. As guests arrived, they were told the same but no one seems to have heard of it. There was a poster there to show the film. I think people choose the hotel for its location rather than film history.

Hands down one of the best boutique hotels I have stayed at. The staff are incredibly friendly, very helpful and went out of their way to make my stay relaxing and enjoyable. Special shout out to Dino for his help with my U.S. to Euro Electric adapter. Mine needed an extension that did not come with the kit and he had one handy. The bed was very very comfortable, always hot water, and the view of Notre Dame…AMAZING. Pro tip: This hotel is perfect for a base to see all of Paris. Metro station is steps away, and the alley on right side of hotel takes you to a small neighborhood of amazing food. I will be making this my go-to hotel for every visit to Paris in the future.

Having visited Paris many times this was the best hotel we have stayed in . It is a perfect mix of a modern interior with traditional charm and a fantastic location. Ignore the negative reports and the old pictures as I suspect they were all before the refurbishment. The staff were equally wonderful as was the breakfast on the day we decided to eat in. Perfectly located for the Latin quarter and other night life Brilliant stay - thank you

We booked the top floor room, 3 people were our teenager slept comfortably in the extra sofa bed. Extraordinarily view over Notre dame! Very clean, no bedbugs, newly refurbished right at the rooftop. I highly recommend this little hotel! We did not have their breakfast, there is a lovely little restaurant nearby were we had crepes and coffee every morning.

The hospitality provided by multiple staff was above and beyond. It ranged from good suggestions for dining, directions and transportation. Dino helped us multiple times with things like locating an ATM or a Post Office. Some of the directions provided included options based on interest, timing and physical effort. They even let us take a personal hot spot along with us we toured different areas. The hotel was convenient to several cafes, the metro and tourist buses. The front view was excellent for watching people moving about. It was clean and comfortable.
